Different
people have different skin types, but those of the fairer disposition
are most at risk to the obvious effects of sun damage. That is not to
say that those with dark or olive skin are not prone - it's more a
case that the damage is not as overtly obvious.
Now
I'm not a complete prude, and I believe there is nothing nicer than a
hint of a glow, be it from the sun or from tastefully applied
make-up, but I have to tell you that the older you get, the harder it
is to mask the tell tale signs of ageing. The damage that sun
afflicts on your delicate skin is lifelong and everlasting, and can
cause you to look older than your years.
Sun damaged skin
presents itself in the form of fine lines, blemishes, and the
appearance of tiny blood vessels that can look a bit like bruising.
The best way of counteracting this is to engage in an intelligent and
sensible skin care routine.
