As your skin ages it loses the
plumpness and elasticity of youth. When you gently pinch a fold of
skin between two fingers, instead of immediately returning to its
former condition when released, older skin takes longer to recover.
You can also spot those horrible little lines affectionately referred
to as crow's feet that manifest themselves around your eyes, but that
are not thought of with any sort of affection at all by those who
skin exhibits them.
Use
of the right products will encourage DNA repair and promote new
growth, while enzymes will actively seek out damaged cells, offering
noticeable improvements in the appearance of fine lines, resulting in
healthy and younger looking skin. Anti-ageing products have come a
long way in recent years and the use of new active and scientifically
proven ingredients in their high-tech beauty treatments will help to
promote skin renewal, improve texture of rough or dry skin, and
reduce redness or puffiness.
Make
sure you use a skin care product which has been specially formulated
to help fight the signs of ageing, as well as using a different skin
care cream for the delicate areas underneath your eyes.
It
may also be worth taking a look at how you apply these products –
upwards and outwards are the best rule of thumb, using gentle
sweeping movements. For the delicate eye area simply pat and tap
rather than dragging the skin. There's no need to apply vast
quantities, small blogs should be sufficient and remember you can
always add a little more rather than having to wipe away any excess
with a tissue because that's just a waste of money!
